Small, quiet unassuming place attached to the Esso station. They have a small menu but the Korean staples. The food was delicious and the service quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be back to try more things.

The food was absolutely amazing—homemade and full of flavor. The place has a warm, homely vibe and it's conveniently located next to a gas station. We loved everything about it. Highly recommend trying the wonton soup and bibimbap!

Amazing Korean food! Best spicy pork that I’ve had in a very long time. I’m still thinking about the food my family and I ate there.

May’s Homecooked Korean dishes are by far some of the best food in the area including Salmon Arm. May works hard to make sure everyone is looked after and fed, for a very affordable price. Every time I’ve been there I’ve been so impressed with the food. Additionally, not in spite of, but because of the key-down ambience, this place is the epitome of an easy-to-miss hidden gem. I had the spicy pork bulgogi and the Japchae and have never been disappointed. I would post billboards for free along the highway for May’s cooking.

A gem of a restaurant! Doesn't look like much but the food is definitely worth the stop if you're hungry and craving Korean food! We got the seafood pancake (so good!), bibimbop, soup and bulgogi, all excellent!

Such a lovely unsuspecting restaurant. We tried and shared multiple items, all which were very amazing. The homemade wonton soup was by far the best Wonton soup i’ve ever eaten. My partner had the Spicy Yangyeom Chicken (in the photo attached the chicken is already half eaten) and the Beef bulgogi and loved them both. I had the Bibimbap and it was so so delicious. Owner was super lovely and kind, took time to answer our questions and explain the dishes. Would 1000% recommend this restaurant. The food is affordable, the gas station is affordable, and it’s absolutely worth going out of your way to try this hidden gem
